Overview
We will meet at 06:30 am at the EPA or Pescadores pier (to be confirmed), where the check-in will take place. From here we will start the navigation towards Bernardo O'Higgins National Park through the Seno Ultima Esperanza. During the journey, we will be able to observe the glaciers of the ice fields, where the glaciers we will visit are located, as well as the local birdlife that will accompany us throughout the trip.
During our journey, we will visit the waterfall and cliffs of Cóndores. The trip continues towards Mount Balmaceda, 2,035 meters high, where we can appreciate the glacier of the same name. Then we will disembark at Puerto Toro to start a guided walk along the shore of Laguna Tempanos, through a native forest of coigües, ñirres, and ciruelillos, towards the Serrano glacier. Here we will enjoy the vegetation and the contrast between the sky and the ancient ice, always accompanied by the imposing Serrano glacier.
On the return from the walk, we will embark again and enjoy a well-deserved aperitif with glacial ice.
After contemplating a unique, wild, and pristine landscape, we will return to Puerto Natales, where we will arrive around 13:00 hours.
Itinerary
06:30: The Check-in process for navigation will take place at the EPA or Pescadores Pier (to be confirmed) in Puerto Natales. From this point, we will start our tour.
07:00 Departure Navigation glaciers Balmaceda and Serrano: Enjoy a scenic trip through the Last Hope Fjord, with the opportunity to see majestic mountains, waterfalls, ranches, and the Patagonian birdlife.
09:00 Balmaceda Glacier View
09:15 Visit to Serrano Glacier: Take a walk through a lush forest of coihues and ñirres until you reach the foot of the glacier.
10:30 Return from Serrano Glacier: Enjoy a snack on board as we sail back.
13:00 Arrival in Puerto Natales, disembarkation, end of services.
