Itinerary
08:30 - Meeting at a designated location in Puerto Varas.
We check the technical equipment and travel 72 kilometers, approximately one hour, to Vicente Pérez Rosales National Park.
10:00 - Base of Osorno Volcano.
We gear up, put on the skins, and check the safety equipment to start ski touring the first 2 kilometers of the day.
12:00 - Glacier Station.
We reach the viewpoint at 1,650 meters above sea level, where we admire the Llanquihue basin before continuing to ascend the next 1.5 kilometers.
14:00 - The Island.
At 2,200 meters above sea level, we remove the skins and start skiing through the hidden valley toward the base of the volcano.
15:30 - Parking area.
Back at the base of the volcano after skiing a little over 3 kilometers, we celebrate and prepare for the return.
16:00 - Return transfer to Puerto Varas.
17:00 - Arrival at the meeting point, end of the day, and farewell.
